Meretz USA frequently hosts lectures, panel discussions, and briefings on key topics related to Israel, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the Middle East, and social justice. Recent events have included a post-elections panel discussion on April 10, featuring Amjad Atallah, Dr. Ruti Ben-Artzi, Dr. Daniel Bar-Tal, and Dr. Stephen P. Cohen and moderated by Samuel Norich; and a commemoration of the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin in November, 2005, featuring Judith Kipper, Samuel Norich, and Dr. Ziad Asali, moderated by Leonard Lopate. Israel Symposium

Meretz USA also hosts an annual Israel Symposium - a weeklong trip to Israel, in which participants meet with prominent politicians, political activists, and leaders.
